We are pleased to offer you a position with the Roman Catholic Bishop of Manchester, d/b/a <specify name> School, as a <insert job title>, beginning on <insert start date>. If you have not already completed background screening and training, this offer is contingent on successful completion of our background screening process, which includes an Employment Application, a State and FBI criminal records check, a check of the sex offender registry, and a signed Acknowledgment of our Promise to Protect, Pledge to Heal Policy and Serving Christ, Serving Others: A Code of Ministerial Conduct and completion of Shield the Vulnerable training. Enclosed with this letter is a packet containing an Employment Application, Fingerprint Card, Criminal Record Release Authorization Form and a booklet on Promise to Protect, Pledge to Heal Policy and Serving Christ, Serving Others Code of Ministerial Conduct. The application, booklet, and instructions on how to complete Shield the Vulnerable training can be found on the diocesan website, under “Child Safety.”

The Diocese of Manchester, including theSchool, is exempt from federal and state laws related to unemployment compensation. As a result, the School does not participate or provide unemployment compensation insurance benefits.
