Piano Music from Japan, North America and South America
Junko Ueno Garrett, Piano
Junko has captivated audiences around the world with her colorful tone, poetry, expressiveness, dynamic technique, and her exceedingly varied repertoire. She is faculty at Occidental College and Kawai artist who lives in Los Angeles.
In this North American solo tour, Junko will be performing pieces from such movies as Howl’s Moving Castle and Final Fantasy VII, as well as Piazzolla’s Milonga del Angel and Libertango and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue to unite and strengthen the friendship between Japan and the Americas. Admission is free. This event is open for all of the QC community, all music enthusiasts and anyone else.
