Flintshire Explorers Coach Trips 2015
For all outings, the coach will collect passengers from Mynydd Isa (opposite the Griffin pub) and from Buckley Cross (opposite Legends Cafe and outside of the old baths). On some trips a third pick up at Rhuddlan Road/Liverpool Road junction may be possible.All times shown below are latest departure times from Buckley – we ask that everyone aims to be there fifteen minutes before to permita prompt start. The coach will be in Mynydd Isa twenty minutes before the Buckley departure time.
All our days out require 43 booked seats to be viable.
Where more than one walk length is shown, it means there will be options on the day. On some trips it will be possible for non-walkers to travel with us (and find somewhere to occupy their time whilst the walk is on). These trips are clearly indicated as (NW)
As in 2014, ALL fares below INCLUDE the coach raffle and driver’s gratuity

Repeat of our trip to Shell Island, this time earlier in the season to hopefully collect better shells after the Spring tides. 3 mile morning walk and 2 miles after lunch (do either or both).
Visit to Porthmadog for an early tea on the journey home.

Aber Falls and Betws-y-coed
Morning coffee is included before a steep 50 minute climb to the falls for our lunch break. Back to the Aber Falls Lodge for an hour or so before we travel on to Betws for an early tea.

Repeat of 2014 trip to Windermere in the Lake Districtincluding three boat trips and an evening meal in Lancasteron the return journey. Menu choices nearer the time.

Walk near to New Mills on the Cheshire/Derbyshire border – evening meal included
June 30th 8.30am 9.30pm 5-6 miles 4 (NW) £20
Visit to Elan Valley, followed by coach tour round the local area with photo opportunities! On the return trip we will have a further stop for tea (T.B.A.)
