Flemish building confederation chooses Track&Trace

service of RAM Mobile Data

Zaventem/Brussels, March 2005 – VCB (Vlaamse Confederatie Bouw), an organisation that represents the interests of Flemish building companies, and RAM Mobile Data Belgium, a provider of data communication services, have signed a co-operation agreement. The agreement allows VCB members to register for Track&Trace@RAM for an extremely attractive flat fee per month.

Working more effectively thanks to Track&Trace@RAM

Track&Trace@RAM makes an entire vehicle fleet instantly accessible any time of the day. All vehicles are accurately recorded and displayed on a map down to street level. Detailed reports provide constant information about how many starts and stops a vehicle has made and where they occurred. The system also records driving and rest periods and covered distances. All journey data is sent over the Mobitex network of RAM Mobile Data to a secure website under its management. This structure has eliminated the need to invest in additional office hardware or software. Track&Trace@RAM correctly records worked hours and enhances service levels.

VCB

"We chose Track&Trace@RAM of RAM Mobile Data because they have years of experience in the domain of recording vehicle movements and wireless data communication in general," said Marc Dillen, General Manager of VCB. "With Track&Trace@RAM they provide a tremendous total concept that includes the application, on-board equipment and communication. We believe RAM Mobile Data has a highly attractive offering for our members and can deliver very high added value with their product."
