Head of Marketing, Consult Hyperion, secure transactions consultancy with global customer base in banking, mobile, transit and government. Responsibilities and achievements included:

  • Thought leadership management including social media and event management.I developed and launcheda new branded thought leadership blog site for the company – - building on the success of the original company blog, which I developed for the company as a consultant. This grew the number of US readers to support our expansion into the US.
  • Marketing communications including development and writing of marketing collateral and website administration. Materials I wrote or compiled included white papers, brochures, case studies, thought leadership books and booklets, articles and blog posts.
  • Management of and liaison with agency suppliers, media, industry bodies and conference organisers. I organised and conducted a pitch process to replace the incumbent design agency, which was underperforming, in preparation for updating the brand image. I liaised on a daily basis with the PR agency, increasing the amount of thought leadership material placed in the media, both in the US and UK.
  • Idevelopeda structured sponsorship package for the Tomorrow’s Transactions Forum, leading to a29% increase in sponsorship sales, turning a loss making event in 2013 into a profit making one in 2014.
  • Development and implementation of marketing strategy and tactics.This included developing the case for updating the main corporate brand to more fully reflect the professionalism of the company, its leading edge performance and other brand values.
  • I managed launch marketing for the Consult Hyperion Mobile Money Practice, through development of a microsite, placing articles and arranging conference presentations, leading to significant contracts in US and Nigeria.
  • I streamlined Consult Hyperion email marketing, improving marketing list management and reducing the number of their marketing emails caught in spam filters.
  • I carried out low cost consumer research on mobile wallets using Google Consumer Surveys, leading to significant media coverage in US and UK.
