Rosettes to 6th place in all individual classes.

Prizes will be awarded for best shoot, swim and run in each class.

Team rosettes to 4th place in all Tetrathlon classes

Teams to comprise 3 or 4 competitors from the same class, except classes 911 which will be combined and classes 1012 which will be combined. Competitors not already in teams will be grouped into ad hoc teams.

Please submit approximate swimming scores for all competitors.

Entry fees: Tetrathlon - £27.00 per competitor (includes paramedic fee)

No team fees

Triathlon - £16.00 per competitor

Entries close: Wednesday 19th April 2017. Entries will be limited and will be accepted in order of arrival.

Shooting – Approx 2.00pm (start time will depend on entries) at Oundle Rifle Club, Benefield Road, Oundle PE8 4EY

Beanbag Throw – (times to be advised) Oundle School Sports Centre

Swimming - 3.45pm at Oundle School, Milton Road, Oundle PE8 4EN

(Please note that the swimming pool is 43.1 metres long, if competitors need an outside lane please indicate this on the entry form and we will do our best to arrange it)

Running – (times to be advised) at Oundle School, Milton Road, Oundle

There will be a Prize Giving for the Triathlon at the conclusion of these phases.

Sunday 30th April

Venue: Home Farm, Alconbury

Riding- Not before 12.30pm

Riding order – Seniors, Juniors, Minis, Mini Minis and Under 8’s

Maximum height of jumps: Under 8’s: approx. 50cms, Mini Minis: approx 60cms, Minis: approx 80cms (all fences in classes 9, 10, 11, 12 & 16 will have ‘L’ alternatives), Juniors: approx 90cms, Seniors: approx 100 cms

We are not running an Intermediate Class but there will be plenty of ‘L’ options on the Senior Course

Competitors may jump a course below their age group with a penalty of 700 points.

No horse or pony may be ridden more than once on the day except by prior arrangement. Riding order will be at our discretion and in class order.

The riding course may be walked from 9.00am on Saturday 29th April.

CONDITIONS

1. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. Neither the organisers nor any persons acting on their behalf accept liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to any competitors, spectators or any other person or property.

2. Pony Club Tetrathlon Rules 2017 to apply. Age as at 1st January (except in the case of those whose 8th birthday falls between 1st January and 29th April, who will be allowed to take part in the shooting phase).

3. The Judge’s decision is final.

4. Riding Phase:Hatsof all competitors must conform to Pony Club regulations - details at - and MUST be tagged with the official WHITE Pony Club tag. (Tags will be available at the venue) OR RED British Eventing tag. Hats must be worn with chinstrap fastened at all times when mounted.

Body Protector – All competitors must wear a body protector that meets BETA 2009 Level 3 standard (purple label) – please see Pony Club regulations details at

5. Shooting Phase - No member is to carry a gun unless accompanied by an adult, to comply with rule 54b.

6. Strictly no dogs allowed on either day.

7. No muddy outdoor shoes to be worn in any of the buildings.

8. If any competitors are going to be unable to attend the prize giving please make this known to the Secretary on the day.
