NOTES :

  1. A closed season for Bream exists in the Onkaparinga River upstream from the Main South Road at Old Noarlunga, 1st September – 30th November.
  1. Garfish, measured from upper jaw to tail fin.
  1. The taking of Groper is banned in Gulf of St Vincent and the Spencer Gulf regions, refer to Map “A” overleaf.
  1. Members and Visitors must de-barb Leather Jackets prior to weigh in.
  1. Mulloway bag limits within the Coorong area only.
  1. Mulloway bag limit for all other waters of the State.
  1. Snapper bag limit of 2 fish for all waters of South Australia. CLOSED SEASON – 1st Nov – 15th Dec.
  1. Snapper bag limit of 5 fish for all waters of the State.
    CLOSED SEASON – 1st Nov – 15th Dec.
  1. KG Whiting – SPATIAL CLOSED SEASON
    1st May – 31st May. Refer to Map “B” overleaf.
  1. Yellowtail Kingfish bag limit of 10 fish for Spencer Gulf waters only.
  1. Yellowtail Kingfish bag limit of 1 fish for all waters of South Australia.
  1. OTHER – including Rock Cod, Herring Cale, Blue Throat Parrot fish. Size 25 – 35. Bag Limit 5.

Additional Notes

  • The onus is upon Club Members to carry an accurate measuring device and to return all undersized fish to the water alive.
  • Any other fish specie not listed that is over 16cms may be brought back for identification prior to presentation of the bag at weigh-in for the purpose of State and National Records.

TAGGED FISH Several different small coloured plastic tags are in use. Report the capture of a tagged fish, (Phone Nō located on tag ) with the following information -

  • tag (or tag number), species and caudal length.
  • time, date and place of capture.
  • 10 to 12 scales from behind the pectoral fin.
