At the moment we have apprenticeships at Levels 2-4. We may make other levels available in future. The rates of pay for apprentices are:
First year of apprenticeship - any age £5.60
After the 1st year:-
25 and over £7.50
21 to 24 £7.05
20 and under £5.60
- Apprentices employed on a contract of training of one year or more will receive annual incremental pay rises. Please supply a copy of the currently agreed pay scales applicable to apprentices employed by your local authority.

Apprentices are managed on a rolling programme based on an academic year. It’s impossible to separate them into years. Our historical records don’t show whether the apprentices are new or existing staff. In the period September 2014-2017 a total of 187 apprenticeships were started.
