Study Tips
First tip: Just Do It !
How to Study . . .
- Find a quiet, comfortable place to work where you will not be distracted. (ie.Not in front of the t.v.)
- Schedule your time, plan on studying for about an hour at a time.
- Start studying for each separate unit by reading through your notes once to refresh your memory and highlight the important parts that you need to know.

- Quiz yourself. Cover up answers to see if you know them. This is a useful quiz to use with any diagrams, your glossary terms and also test questions.

Tips for writing the exam . . .
- come prepared with all of the equipment that you will need for the exam . . . (pen, pencil, eraser, calculator, ruler)
- Read the entire question before answering!
- When answering multiple choice questions, try to eliminate the obviously wrong answer and then work through a process of elimination to find the correct answer.
- Skip any questions that you cannot answer and come back to answer them later.
- When you finish the exam, read through your answers to make sure that there is nothing else that you want to add or to clarify
- Make an attempt to answer every question, and not to leave any questions blank. Part marks are possible for short answer questions.
