RACE FEES

a)There is a fee of $5 per entry for this competition.

b)You need to bring your own Scalextric 32nd Rally car to race. If you don’t own one, you can rent one for $5 for the day.

REGISTRATION
• Drivers must register with their club representative. Club representatives must then register all their drivers no later than 1 week before the event via Fengshan Community Club or Hobby Bounties, this helps the hosting club to estimate the number of drivers for the event.
SCRUTINEERING
• Scrutineering will take place when cars are booked in to race. The scrutineer will require the driver to present the car with the body separated from the chassis. Random scrutineering can take place at any time during a meeting. This will be carried out at the beginning of any heat or heats. All the cars in the chosen heat will be checked, if a car is found to be illegal that competitor’s points will be scrubbed for that meeting.

•Each driver will be allocated a race number which must be displayed on their cars through out the season.

•Finalists will have their cars opened up and put on the track for every one to scrutinise at the end of the finals.

•At venues with a magnet effect track there will be checks for magnetraction in the cars at scrutineering and before the start of each race.

•Cars must be entered into scrutineering with rear spoilers in place.

•Weight may be added inside the car only and must be securely fixed with glue or BlueTac (Lead / lead/alloy substitutes only).

•Cars will be checked to ensure all parts used are eligible and all rules are adhered to.

•Motors must remain sealed/un-opened; any evidence of cans being opened will be viewed as tampering with the motor and is illegal.

•Front axles/tyres must not stick out from the body. Front wheels must run with tyres.

•The maximum overall width of the rear axle/tyre must not exceed 65mm.

•Failure to enter scrutineering when required will result in disqualification.

•1 car only to be used through out a meeting, if a part breaks or fails during a heat, the car can be repaired but needs to be scrutinised before commencing the next heat. In the unlikely event of a total write off where the original car is beyond repair a replacement car (conforming to the rules) may be used for the remaining heats & finals but scores will be scrubbed for that meeting. No change of car is allowed during a heat.

•Chief Scrutineer’s decision is final.
RACE FORMAT
• Each driver will race once on each lane and will be given lane choice in their final according to their position after the heats. Drivers will race in seeded order (seeding will be worked out from the championship table prior to the event).

•Races will be over a period of time, eg time for 10 laps. At the end of each race the laps/footages are recorded. All race scores are then totalled to give a qualifying position and step-up finals are raced.

•1 car only to be used through out a meeting, if a part breaks or fails during a heat, the car can be repaired but needs to be scrutinised before commencing the
