OpeningStatement

Currently Prof. MarekCała is a Dean of the Faculty of Mining and Geoengineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland). Professor is the author of more than 100 scientific papers published in journals and conferences proceedings, as well as seven monographs. Prof. MarekCała is also the author and co-author of more than 300 studies realized for mining industry. He is a member of International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM) and International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE).
