Serosep Ltd is a manufacturer of Laboratory diagnostic products for sale to the clinical market for more than 20 years. The company is now exporting its products to 30 countries world- wide. Due to continued expansion at the Annacotty facility, the company has the following opening for an individual to join a highly motivated team based in Limerick.
Position:
Financial Accountant:
The purpose of the role would be assist the Financial Controller with the day to day financial operations of the company, some of the key duties for this role are outlined as follows:
Duties:Sales Report reconciliation and preparation of the standard report
Prepare & post the payroll every month
Reconcile & prepare a profit & loss account and Balance sheet each month for both the month and YTD.
Prepare and reconcile to management accounts to the YTD Business Units
Maintain the individual business unit accounts and ensure they balance.
Check the equipment purchased and compare to budget.
Ensure that the locations of equipment are up to date and maintained.
Prepare ad hoc reports for different departments as requested
Prepare the supplier management report
Liaise with Auditors to close off on the financial audit
Liaise with Consultant to ensure the R&D Tax Credit is closed
Attend and provide meaningful input to the routine departmental meetings.
Essential:Hold ACCA Certified Chartered Accountancy or equivalent
Fluent in both written and oral English
Experience in the use of computerized accounting packages
Quality Assurance Specialist
The purpose of the role would be assist the Quality manager with the day to day functions of the quality department, some of the key duties for this role are outlined as follows:
Duties:Participate in site activities associated with QMS programs (e.g., Validation, Complaints, Change Control) and provide active input into shaping the future direction of these systems.
Review of NCs and associated CAPAs for closure ensuring compliance with appropriate documentation, whilst ensuring that CAPA actions address root cause and implementation plan dates are achievable
Perform Internal Audits and follow up support to various departments on any findings.
Prepare Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with Policies.
Approval of Raw Materials - certificates reviewed and signed off
Maintain Training Records
Maintain Equipment Calibration Schedules
Monitor Department KPI’s and prepare reports
Prepare Reports for Management Reviews
Essential:Higher Degree in Engineering or Science related discipline.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a quality assurance environment in either the pharmaceutical/ Medical Device industry or equivalent
Fluent in both written and oral English
R&D Scientist- Molecular Biology
The purpose of the role would be assist with the development of molecular diagnostic assays for the company, some of the key duties for this role are outlined as follows:
Duties:Perform Analytical studies required to commercialise molecular assays that have been developed up to point of commercialisation
Perform Specificity testing/ LOD/ reproducibility testing.
Implement and maintain the required quality standards as required (ISO. FDA etc)
Troubleshoot any technical issues that occur with theexisiting assays
Maintain research records and laboratory notebooks
Essential:Good knowledge of molecular assay design
Good knowledge of real time PCR assay optimisation
Nucleic extraction techniques
Microbiological culture experience
Handling/ Amplifying RNA
