▪ A formidable trade fair complex. In the Milan hinterland, in Rho, Fiera Milano owns one of the largest, most modern, efficient exhibition districts in existence. The complex is linked to the city by underground and rail services and offers 345,000 gross square metres under cover (plus a further 60,000 square metres outdoors), twenty pavilions, 74 meeting rooms, 10 of which in the Stella Polare Convention Centre, 84 eating places, 10,000 parking spaces for visitors and 5,000 for exhibitors and a modern 400-room hotel. A further 43,000 square metres of exhibition space, hosting smaller fairs or for those preferring a city location, are also available in the heart of Milan, in fieramilanocity.

▪ A fair in touch with the whole world. Thanks to the central position of Milan on the international network of land links and its proximity to the three airports (Malpensa, Linate and Orio al Serio) Fiera Milano can easily be reached from anywhere in the world. It can also count on the excellent hotel facilities in the city and a huge selection of entertainment, shopping, culture and tourist options.

▪ Events. In 2014, Fiera Milano hosted 51 events, part of which were directly owned and organised. They also curated 62 exhibitions abroad, in China, India, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, Russia, Singapore and Thailand.

These exhibition events are, for the companies, irreplaceable business and internationalisation platforms, ideal for reaching, with limited investments, profiled targets and markets that would otherwise require expensive commercial activities.

Fiera Milano oversees numerous productive sectors. Fashion, furniture, home, instrumental mechanics, tourism, professional hospitality, food, plants and energy, building and art are just a few of the sectors represented.

▪ Fiera Milano around the world. Fiera Milano has been operating in a joint venture with the German fair of Hannover in China and India since 2008, and has its own branches in Brazil, South Africa, China, India and Russia. There is also a commercial partnership in Singapore.

The objective of the international activity is also to globalise our own shows: HOMI, the international home show, taken to Moscow in October 2014 at the same time as the Salone Internazionale del Mobile (International Furniture Show) and the MADE building trade fair; the TUTTOFOOD food show and the HOST trade fair dedicated to hospitality, which led to the creation of Food Hospitality World, a B2B event specifically designed for foreign markets (held in China, India, Brazil and South Africa); Sicurezza (Safety), a show that is held in Italy and in Brazil; Realtech, an event dedicated to products and services for disabled people (Brazil and Singapore).

▪ Congresses. Managing congresses is of primary importance for Fiera Milano.

Fiera Milano Congressi manages MiCo – Milano Congressi, the most modern convention centre in Europe and the only one capable of hosting up to 18,000 delegates in an auditorium for 1,500 people, two plenary halls seating 4,000 and 2,000 people and around 70 modular rooms. Plus 54,000 square metres of exhibition space and 1,100 parking spaces. The creation of MiCo, achieved by reconverting part of the exhibition space no longer in use in the city, entailed an investment of 64 million euros by Fondazione Fiera Milano. In addition to the MiCo, Fiera Milano Congressi can also count on the Stella Polare Convention Centre, in the heart of the Rho exhibition district (9 modular rooms with a capacity ranging from 81 to 728 and an elegant elliptic auditorium with seating for 1008 people, ideal also for events, fashion shows and concerts) and on the MoMec - Montecitorio Meeting Centre, the executive business suite in the heart of Rome. Finally, Fiera Milano Congressi manages the congress centre in Stresa, located on Lake Maggiore.

▪ Media company. Fiera Milano also means flexible, multi-channel, online and offline business communication. The subsidiary company Fiera Milano Media provides companies with communication services that integrate the traditional specialist publishing and advertising channels with the internet and the relational platform of conventions and training workshops.
