- Treasurer’s Report
- Shari Lohse
- Checkbook balance as of the end of 2014 = $6,906.65, not including an outstanding debit = $131.34.
- $1,686.00 was donated to the FFYBA by Lakes Radio via proceeds collected from tickets sold at last week’s Twins Caravan event.
- The batting cage that was planned for the Maroon Gym was returned due to issues with functionality.
- There was a discussion round the revision of the bylaws. Brian will make the decided upon updates to the document and will be submitted to the board for review and approval during February’s board meeting.
- Main discussion topic was the compensation of the treasurer position. After a lengthy discussion, including 2 failed motions; Paul’s motion to compensate the Treasurer’s position in the amount of $1500.00 was offered. Mike seconded the motion and the motion was approved.
- Election of officers, voting and non-voting members. Larry motioned to approve the following; Mike seconded the motion. Motion carried.

- Committee formation and chair nominations will take place at the February board meeting.
- Brian gave a general overview of the IMYNE program. He will speak more about this program in next month’s meeting.
- Spring Vipers baseball begins March 12.

- At this time, there are no plans to invite 6th graders to play, as the number of 7th and 8th grade participants is adequate.
- Brian provided an update on the game schedule. Most of the games are in place, with the schedule to finalized in the upcoming weeks.
- Camp
- Velocity Camp – 6 participants
- Bat Speed Camp – 14 participants
- There have been very few issues to report, if any at all. Overall, this is being deemed a success.
- Next meeting: Monday, February 16th, 2015, 6:30-8:30pm, Otter Tail Power Company Community Rooms
- Mike motioned to adjourn the meeting; Shari seconded the motion. The motion carried.
