15.  / 16.  Reduced activity period / The Department will notify a Christmas/New Year shut down period. Some specified personnel may be required to work during this period however prior approval will be required from their DIBP contract manager.
17.  / 18.  Business Hours / Specified Personnel service arrangements are 40 hours per week. If it is necessary to exceed the 40 hours in any given week, written approval must be obtained prior to the work being undertaken.
Specified Personnel are required to complete DIBP ICT Contractor SAP Timesheet which must be submitted prior to close of business at the end of each week or as directed.

23.  / 24.  Services/work required / As part of a team, Specified Personnel will be required to assist and execute a range of tasks.
The services will include and not be limited to:
·  Developing appropriate solutions (design and code) and related technical documentation;
·  Undertaking database design and development;
·  Data modelling;
·  Providing development effort estimates for changes to existing applications and new applications;
·  Providing code review and other quality assurance tasks for projects and for code delivered by the section;
·  Implementing competency centre standards (including design, development and unit testing standards);
·  Maintaining and developing key DIBP systems and applications;
·  Developing, maintaining and unit testing system components;
·  Developing and maintaining key documentation and ensuring they are appropriately stored in the department’s recordkeeping repository;
·  Liaising with business analysts and testers to efficiently deliver high quality work;
·  Undertaking and supporting continuous improvement of the DIBP Siebel Methodology;
·  Mentoring and transferring skills to DIBP staff of both technical and corporate knowledge;
·  Other duties as directed.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Important:

PLEASE COMPLETE AN ‘EXECUTIVE SUMMARY’ (HALF PAGE MAX) THAT COVERS ALL OR MOST OF THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW.

Mandatory/Essential Criteria:

·  Minimum 7 years technical delivery experience in implementing Siebel in medium to large Government organisations;

·  Knowledge of MQ and Clear Case;

·  Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks effectively and monitor the tasks of team members to meet project milestones;

·  Demonstrated ability to meet extremely tight deadlines in a dynamic environment;

·  Demonstrated ability to undertake complex configuration and development using the Siebel Application;

·  Familiarity and experience with ORACLE BIP;

·  Demonstrated ability to provide Prototyping support;

·  Advanced skills in creating complex MQT’s;

·  Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Business Analysts, Testers, Project Managers and administration staff;

·  Technical background and knowledge of at least one of the following:

-  Javascript;

-  Siebel Tools V7 or V8;

-  SQL preferably with Oracle or DB2;

·  Demonstrated experience in developing Siebel Task Based User Interface;

·  Demonstrated experience in Siebel Workflows;

·  Demonstrated experience in Data Conversion;

·  Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology;

·  Specified Personnel must hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance (AGSVA) or be willing to undergo and obtain an AGSVA clearance (Baseline clearance as a minimum);
