Treasurer’s report
- Balance of 31477.29
Bringing Books to Life – March 24
- Maybe provide tickets for the meals for the readers
- Leah can send a note to invite them to come eat and find out if they want it or not
- Heather moves to provide meals

- Invite students to dress up as their favorite book character to school the day of the event
- Agreed that might help hype the event
- Jay agrees we can do this
- PTO Role
- Lancer Leos will serve the meal
- PTO will need to man book basket raffle table

- Thinking that might detract from an event that is meant to be quiet and attending
- Fun idea to keep in mind for another time
- Kelly will contact him to say we’re setting this aside for now

Grandparent’s Night Out in April
- Consider Hans Meyer
- Possibly invite grandparents and seniors in the community in particular
- April 10th Hans Meyer is available
- Softball has gym until 6:00 or 6:30
- Thinking this date might be a little early
Yearbook
- 12th is supposed to be the final count
- Normally ordered 40 more beyond what gets ordered
- Also order one for any 4th grader who can’t afford (around 20)
- Other years it was between 320-360
- Have around 200
Book Fair Wrap Up
- $1286.96 is the cash-out option
- Thinking we’ll take that option instead of book reimbursement
- It was effective and efficient
- Not sure if Darcey wants to do it again in the fall
- Melinda will get Heather the receipt for the fair that will tell her how much to pay to Scholastic
- Put out a thank-you for parents who volunteered for the book fair
- Karn will ask Alison to have some kids make a thank-you sign for those who volunteered at the Book Fair
School Garden
- Request for some funding from PTO
- Melinda moves to donate $500 to the effort
- Kelly seconds

- Kelly will check with Susan and Maggie to see how they need to have us pay that money
2nd& 3rdgrade Field Trip
- 2nd grade is going fishing
- Also going to some kind of play
- Replacement for the trip they missed
- 3rd grade also wants to go to Charlotte’s Web at Viterbo on April 28 (with 2nd grade)
- $721.00 total for the request
- Bonnie moves to approve

- Kelly will have Robyne forward the request on to Jay so they can process it
- 3rd grade is also going to Quarry Hill Nature Center in April
- 1st grade still hasn’t taken up the offer to do another trip

- Kindergarten Survival Night Out

- PTO provides appetizers
- Introduce some of our activities
- Possibly childcare provided here in the gym
- Pick a date at next meeting
- Also look at an article on PTO Today article to bring an idea to the next meeting
- Maybe consider new names
- Could start a Google Thread to do some brainstorming
- PTO T-shirts
