Faxon Law New Haven Road RaceWaives Entry Fees for New Haven Children In Kids Fun Run!
New Haven, CT: The 38th running of the Faxon Law New Haven Road Racewill have a field of over 6,000 runners on Labor Day, September 7. Runners can compete in the 20K, 5K or Kids Fun Run. The title sponsor of the ½ Mile Kids Fun Run is Amity Physical Therapy. Amity Physical Therapy strives to provide exceptional physical therapy services while tailoring to patients' individual needs and is committed to set forth the standard of how all patients should be treated.
Children who live in the city of New Haven can participate free of charge in the Kids Fun Run courtesy of Amity Physical Therapy! The Amity Physical Therapy Kids Fun Run is a non-competitive run for children ages 6-12. All Kids Fun Run entrants receive a cotton race t-shirt. Ribbons are awarded to all fun run finishers. Nearly 500 children are expected to take part in the event.
Following the race, children are invited to enjoy inflatable amusements, moonwalk, slide, obstacle course, clowns and more! All participants may join the post-race party including live music, awards ceremony, food and beverages on the New Haven Green.
Michael Dow of Amity Physical Therapy states, “Once again, we are delighted to be a major sponsor for the New Haven Road Race and giving back to the local community. We look forward to being on-site to offer complimentary Pre and Post-race stretching, as well as consultation services for participants.”
Applicants are urged to register before raceday. The first 6,000 20K and 5K entrants will receive technical running shirts. The Faxon Law New Haven Road Race is limited to 7,500 entrants.
Runners are encouraged to fundraise for Girls on the Run of Greater New Haven, New Haven Legal Assistance, Cindy Lynn Sherwin Memorial Foundation or the Mandy Schwartz Foundation. If runners fundraise more than $250 for one of the signature charities, he or she will receive a complimentary entry! The Faxon Law New Haven Road Race has previous given nearly a half a million dollars to local charities. Please contact for fundraising questions.
