Fannin County Citizens Hear About Thefts, Burglaries and
More Drugs on the StreetDuring Grand Jury Session
Criminal District Attorney Richard Glaser reports that on Thursday, February 19, 2015, the Grand Jury met to consider thirty-three cases. Thirty (30)cases were True Billed or indicted and filed with the District Clerk. The Fannin County Grand Jury has returned 61 true bills of indictment so far in 2015.
It is important to note that an indictment is a formal charge and should not be considered as evidence of guilt and that all persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
