**Harry changed the family name from Leibrandt to Liebrandt in the 1930s when a US government pension record spelled his name wrong. In his spare time and after he retired, Harry grew exotic flowers and several varieties of cactus in a greenhouse he built behind his home in Greenfield, IN. Harry’s sons Wilford, Donald, and Virgil were all US Army veterans of World War Two. Wilford fought in the Pacific Theater. Donald and Virgil fought in Europe. Dale served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War.
