Family Commitment

  1. As parents or guardians, we accept the responsibility God has given us to instruct our children in “The ways, words, and wonders of God” (Deut 11:18-22). We promise to provide a home environment that is based on Godly principles found in the Bible.
  1. We have carefully examined and agree with the mission of BCA pledges and desire the school to work with us in the total education of our children.
  1. In full cooperation with BCA, we will regularly attend the Parent –Teacher meetings and other functions requiring our participation.
  1. We pledge our loyalty to the aim and ideals of BCA, agree to abide by the policies of BCA, and will direct any criticisms to the appropriate person. We understand that policies may be subject to change.
  1. We understand and accept the fact that the Administration has the responsibility and freedom to determine when it is in the student’s and / or school’s best interest for a student to withdraw. If this is determined in the case of our family, we will cooperate and support the decision to withdraw as quietly as possible, avoiding discussion with those not involved.
  1. We understand that new students are admitted under probation for one semester after which the administration will review the progress of the student.
  1. As parents or guardians, we agree to work closely with BCA in helping the students to learn and to solve their school related problems.
  1. Parents agree to keep their student(s) in compliance with the dress code throughout the year by replacing uniform items and shoes as the student(s) may outgrow or damage these items through the course of the school year.
  1. We understand that BCA is a non-profit ministry operating on the principle of faith. Tuition is kept as low as possible to make Christian education available to those who desire it for their children. Tuition and fees do not cover all operation costs. Additional funds and needs must be met with fundraising efforts. We ask that each family participate meaningfully in all fundraising efforts.
  1. The registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances, and is due with the application. This fee does not apply toward tuition.
  1. Parents agree to pay the cost of any standardized tests administered.
  1. Tuition does not cover additional reading materials and supplies that may be required in some courses.
  1. We understand this to mean that this Family Commitment is also a binding financial obligation. Tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month with payment no later than the 10th. Tuition is scheduled for a 10 month plan, beginning in August and ending with the last payment in May. The registration fee is due by June 1st.

We have read the Family Commitment carefully and hereby agree to its terms.
