Job Purpose:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the CFA Marketing and Communications Strategy and Plan
  • To support the delivery of the National Game Strategy

Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of The CFA Marketing and Communications strategy and plan
  • Produce an Annual CFA MarComms Strategic Plan
  • Review the Association's branding and visual imagery ensuring consistency across all media
  • Maintain control over the Association's logo and branding
  • Oversee and further develop the Association’s social media sites
Review and co-ordinate the publication of the Associations internal and external publications to ensure consistency and maximise efficiency
  • Review the Association's external and internal publications to ensure consistency of message and maximise efficiency
  • Coordinate the publication of the Association's printed material (such as County Handbook, Annual Reports etc.)
Oversee The CFA’s website ensuring that it remains a central resource for the dissemination of information to all stakeholders
Develop links with local media outlets to ensure that there is regular coverage of CFA activities
  • Provide a regular source of press releases to the printed media
  • Maintain a picture library and a record of all published articles
Work with members of the Football Services staff, Development Team and others to provide marketing support where required
  • Provide marketing support to dedicated county campaigns or those initiated by the Football Association
  • Provide support to County Cup Competitions including managing the draws from the Quarter Final Stage and overseeing the organisation and promotion of all Finals
  • Consult with relevant key stakeholders to ascertain feedback to assist in the production of the CFA Operational Plan, Project Plan and with a view to improving customer satisfaction
  • Manage customer satisfaction programmes (including chairing stakeholder group), conducting appropriate market research to review progress and identify areas for development
Support the CEO in developing and overseeing The CFA’s Commercial and Sponsorship Strategies
  • Maximise commercial and sponsorship opportunities into the CFA
  • Manage on-going commercial partnerships to ensure mutual expectations are delivered
