Varieties/ Technologies Developed in the last 10 years / 2005-06 & 2006-07: Early post emergence spraying of Atrazine @0.50 kg ai/ha at 15-20 DAS followed by earthlingoperation in winter maize was found most effective in controlling all broad and narrow leaved weed recorded maximum production and productivity of winter maize and it has no residual effect of succeeding Green gram crop.
2005-06 & 2006-07: In winter maize crop among all rabi season weeds P. minorC. album species of weeds were identified as most noxious which affect maximum deleterious effect on yield attributes, biological yield and grain yield of crop. P. minor and C. album reduced 44.21% and 39.45% yield, while mix flora of all weeds reduced 50.37% yield.
2010 – 11: Incorporation of semi rotted mustard straw in soil before sowing of wheat crop reduced germination of C. album (70.58%), C. arvensis (59.09%) and C. rotundus (37.78%) at 45 DAS and registered highest grain yield of wheat (42.0 q/ha) variety UP 2338.
2011-12 & 2012-13: The superimposed doses of vermi compost @ 5.0 t/ha + Azotobactor & PSB as seed treatment over recommended doses of 150 kg N+ 60 kg P2O5+40 kg K2O+20 kg S/ha recorded highest biological yield (129.62 q/ha), grain yield (56.70 q/ha) and straw yield (72.92 q/ha) of wheat variety PBW-502. The grain yield of wheat by superimposed nutritional doses varied upto 17.49% to 22.48% compared to control treatment
2013-14: Seed priming with water recorded 13.13% yield increment, while superimposed nutrition (RDF+compost @ 10 t/ha+ Azotobactor +PSB) recorded 33.18% yield increment compared to control treatment in late sown wheat variety UnnatHalna (K 9423) in Central plain zone of U.P.
2014 – 15: Integrated doses of NPK (20:60:20)+ S (25Kg)+ B (1Kg)+ FYM (5t/ha)+ Rhizobium recorded maximum grain yield 1348.14q/ha of chickpea and recorded 34% more yield compound to control treatment.
2014 – 15:Superimposed doses of S (25Kg) +B (1Kg)+ Fe (5t/ha) over NPK doses (150:60:45Kg/ha) recorded maximum growth characters yield attributes yield attributes and grain yield 54q/ha of wheat variety Mahi (K-402).
