Faculty Activity Report Review- MyUAlbany

This report is requested each year as part of the University’s comprehensive faculty utilization policy. The format is intended to provide as broad, fair, and usable a record as possible of the various activities in which faculty are engaged. It is not expected that all sections will be applicable to each faculty member; also, some activities may not fit into any of the categories listed within the report. The information in the report will be used by the Dean and, where applicable, the Department for reporting and planning purposes.

Faculty Activity Report Review

Login to MyUAlbany.

In the Faculty Activity Report Reviewsection, select the ReviewReportslink.

Each year, a link for the corresponding Report Period willbe added.

Select the desired Report Period link. (i.e. May 1, 2006 – Apr 30, 2007.)

A list of the Faculty Activity Reports you have access to will appear. Select the name of the report you would like to view.

Use the Select Different Year link to return to list of report years.

The report will appear. You will need to scroll down through the report and select any highlighted buttons (i.e. View Publication Details _ to see additional information.

To return to the list of Faculty Activity Reports, select the Return to Faculty List link at the bottom of the report.

To Print the Report

Once the report is open, select File – Page Setup from the browser’s menu bar.

Select Landscape.

You may also choose to remove the code in the Header and Footer Fields so that the URL does not appear.
This is also where you can adjust your margins, if your report requires you to do so (.5 is suggested for the Left and Right margins).

Select the OKbutton.

Select File – Print Previewfrom the menu bar.

Notice the window opens with “As laid out on screen” selected in the menu bar at the top of the page. In addition it tells us this is Page 1 of 1. Reports will always be longer than 1 page.

The Faculty Activity Report will appear with scroll bars displaying on the bottom and side of the report. Before printing your report you will want to remove the scrollbars.

Change the option As laid out on screen to Only the selected frame.

Select the Print button in the upper left hand corner of this page. (You must print from this window in order for the report to print with the correct settings.)

Make any necessary selections and choose the Print button .
