BUILDERS CLUB - Central’s Builders Club is partnering with the Starving Artists CANstruction team again this year! As a lead-up to the actual CANstruction event, Builders Club is sponsoring a Canned Food Drive. Teams will earn points as follows:
Canned Meat (Tuna, Chicken, etc) and Peanut Butter- 40pts,
Soups- 30pts
Vegetables - 20pts
Fruit - 10pts
All else - 5pts.
The Can Collection will end on Feb. 9th. The Team earning the most points will win a Sundae Bar!
CANstruction is a design/build competition held in over 150 cities all over the world where teams create structures made entirely out of canned food. Our completed sculpture exhibition will be on display at the Fair Oaks Mall during the week of February 18th. This is an amazing event that brings the community together through innovation, collaboration and the creative arts. All the cans used in the structures are donated to stock the shelves of our local food pantries: Love Chapel, Community Center of Hope and Salvation Army.
