FAAST LT introduces high-sensitivity detection for tough environments
System Sensor, part of Honeywell, has extended its aspiration portfolio with the launch of FAAST LT, which offers effective fire detection for EN54-20 Class C applications where standard methods of detection do not provide sufficient protection.
The new range was showcased last week at Security Essen, the largest fire and security show in Europe, and was positively received from all delegates.
FAAST LT is designed for use in environments where access or maintenance is restricted, aesthetics are important, or in harsh environments where extremes in temperature, humidity and airflow may cause detector failure or false alarms. Examples include cold storage facilities, warehouses, factories and large public spaces such as airports, churches, museums and stadiums. FAAST LT also provides high sensitivity detection in small mission critical applications such as small data server rooms.
FAAST LTcombines field-proven laser smoke detection technology with ultrasonic flow sensors to produce a highly sensitive and reliable aspirationdevice. Advanced design features deliver ease of installation and reliable operation in the toughest environments.
FAAST LT’sother main features and benefits include:
