EXTREME LONG SHOT – A CITY’S SKYLINE
It is a small city in the foreground. In the background are some snow-capped mountains. A very light snow is coming down.
SUPER: GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.
INT. A BEDROOM – NIGHT
It is a rather fancy place. ANDRE JEANNOT sleeps in the bed.
He is about thirty. He is very tall and muscular with long hair. He is wearing a large sweater and bikini briefs.
ANDRE
He turns in bed. He smiles as he talks in his sleep.
ANDRE
You’re a Sagittarius? Then here is the bottle for you, sir.
THE DREAM
He is selling the Zodiac Elixirs from a display case inside the Mesa Mall. An ORDINARY MAN stands next to him. Andre hands him a bottle with the Sagittarius symbol on it.
ANDRE
Go on. This one’s on the house.
Take a sip.
ORDINARY MAN
All right.
The man opens the bottle and takes a sip. He smiles at Andre, who smiles back.
ORDINARY MAN (CONT’D)
That tastes pretty good. In
fact . . .
He drinks it all down, much to Andre’s displeasure.

ANDRE
Sir, don’t drink it down in one gulp. Especially here.
The man smiles viciously as he throws the bottle away.
ORDINARY MAN
Why not? You didn’t put anything . . . dangerous in it, did you?
(a beat, menacingly)
Did you?
The man MORPHS into the CENTAUR, the half-man, half-horse beast. He holds a bow and arrow.
RESUME ANDRE IN BED
He sweats. He twists and turns. Then he MORPHS into GINA ANDREWS, who could be his twin sister. She is asleep as she puts her hands out in a seductive pose.
GINA
Easy, big boy.
RESUME THE DREAM
Andre MORPHS into Gina, who puts her hands out to the Centaur in the same seductive pose. She really lays on the charm, magically speaking.
GINA
Now you wouldn’t want to hurt sweet
little Gina Andrews. You wouldn’t hit a girl with that big nasty arrow, would you?
The Centaur acts like Gina’s love slave.
CENTAUR
No, Miss Andrews.
GINA
So you better give me that bow and arrow. Just to be on the safe side.

She puts her hands out like she is expecting his things. He gives them to her.
CENTAUR
Yes, Miss Andrews.
She turns the bow and arrow around.
GINA
These really are too dangerous for you to have.
She aims the arrow at him. He smiles.
CENTAUR
Oh, I quite agree, Miss Andrews.
GINA
In fact, you’re too dangerous to let live. You’re too wild and unpredictable.
CENTAUR
I can’t help it. I’m like a stallion running loose.
GINA
Which is why Andre has to kill you.
RESUME GINA IN BED
She MORPHS into Andre. He makes the motion of using a bow and arrow.
ANDRE Die, you--
RESUME THE DREAM
Andre shoots the arrow into the Centaur’s chest.
ANDRE
Bastard!
The centaur drops dead. Andre looks at the monster’s blood.

ANDRE (CONT’D)
Hmm. I wonder what kind of elixir I can make with the Centaur’s blood.
He wipes the blood off of the Centaur’s chest with his fingers.
Then he is about to lick the blood.
RESUME ANDRE IN BED
He licks his fingers. Then he sticks his fingers into his mouth. He coughs and wakes up.
ANDRE
Damn my curiosity.
INT. THE KITCHEN – NIGHT
Andre is eating a sandwich and drinking bottled water. He finishes a bite when his nose twitches. He sets down his sandwich as he looks all around. His fingers turn into claws while he growls like a lion. He bares his teeth, and fangs grow from his incisors.
ANDRE (V.O.)
Monsters! Two of them!
(sniffs the air)
A man and a woman! Just outside!
Andre turns off the light. He looks out the kitchen window.
HIS POV
A HAWK and a DOVE are on the back lawn. They look directly at the off-camera window.
DOVER (V.O.)
You love me. You now see and hear the real me.
The dove MORPHS into DOVER. She is a lovely-looking and toned woman dressed for the cold weather. She is about 25. She and
the hawk react to Andre’s scream. She looks at the bird.
DOVER
I think I got his attention.

RESUME ANDRE
He screams as he runs at a fast speed out of the kitchen. He runs to the front door, opens it, and runs outside.
RESUME DOVER AND THE HAWK
The hawk morphs into HAWKINS. He is a handsome and buff man who is also dressed for the cold weather.
HAWKINS
Front door.
The heroes fly upward into the air. They fly over the house and levitate over
ANDRE
He is running down the street. He is running extremely fast.
ANDRE
You can’t catch me! I’m as fast as a lion!
The heroes fly behind him. Dover points at Andre.
DOVER
(soothingly)
Calm down. Just look at me.
ANDRE
Never!
Andre leaps far to the side. It is a superhuman leap.
HAWKINS
That does it! I’m getting the drop on him!
He is stopped by
SYBIL (V.O.)
(almost deafening)
No, Mr. Hawkins. You most certainly shall not.

The heroes react to the voice-over.
INT. SYBIL’S MANSION/LIVING ROOM – NIGHT
Sybil is a middle-aged woman wearing casual, but very stylish, clothing. She is seated on the sofa. On the coffee table are an illustration and chocolate bonbons.
She looks into the DelphiCrystal, which is a crystal ball that fits in her hand. The SUPERIMPOSED IMAGES of Hawkins and Dover appear in the crystal.
SYBIL
You do not know if this is the Androgyne or just another Zodiac
killer. It is best to keep your
distance.
THE ILLUSTRATION
It has the pictures of Andre and Gina on it.
SYBIL (V.O.)
I would not be surprised if this man were the Androgyne. The alchemists love to see how their experiments play out.
ANDRE
He runs into a yard and hides behind a shed. He then MORPHS into Gina.
HAWKINS AND DOVER IN MIDAIR
DOVER
Damn it. We lost him.
HAWKINS
Or her. Let me look for that girl.
DOVER
Woman.

HAWKINS
Whatever.
He closes his eyes and puts his fingers to his temples. The SUPERIMPOSED IMAGE of Gina’s illustration appears around him.
The illustration then becomes the image of Gina hiding behind the shed.
HAWKINS (CONT’D)
She’s hiding behind a shed in
that direction.
He points to the side. The image disappears. The heroes slowly fly to the side.
GINA
She bares her fangs and extends her claws.
HAWKINS (V.O.)
Whoa. Wait. Now she has fangs and claws.
DOVER (V.O.)
She drank the Leo Elixir. No
wonder she sensed that my power
was about to work on her . . .

HAWKINS AND DOVER IN MIDAIR
DOVER
Felines are very sensitive to
magical powers.
HAWKINS
Oh, great. You can’t make the Androgyne fall in love. And if
I try to grab her, she’ll slash
me.
DOVER
(a beat, ponders)
Maybe not. Here’s what we are
going to do.

GINA
She leans her claws against the shed.
GINA (V.O.)
The man! He’s in front of me!
ANDRE (V.O.)
And the woman is behind me! A
diversion!
The hawk appears in front of Gina. It screeches loudly. The hawk MORPHS into the flying Hawkins.
HAWKINS
Hey! Look at me!
Dover appears behind Gina.
GINA
Stop her! Don’t let her hurt me!
Hawkins flies over Gina and lands on Dover. He pins Dover to the ground.
DOVER
OOOF! Harry!
HAWKINS
You can’t hurt her, Debra! You
just can’t!
DOVER
What are you talking about?
As they struggle, Gina MORPHS into Andre.
ANDRE
(to Dover)
Don’t let him do that! Don’t let him get the better of you!
Dover now punches Hawkins. He punches her back. Andre then MORPHS into Gina.

GINA
She’s going to hurt me! You’ve
got to kill her!
Hawkins starts to choke Dover. She chokes him back. Gina MORPHS into Andre.
ANDRE
He’ll kill you! You’ve got to
kill him first!
Andre bares his fangs and extends his claws.
ANDRE (V.O.)
That’s it! Tire yourselves out!
GINA (V.O.)
Make it easier for me to kill you!
SYBIL
She eats a bonbon as she looks at the DelphiCrystal. It shows the SUPERIMPOSED IMAGES of the heroes strangling each other. She is not concerned.
SYBIL
Oh, of course.
HAWKINS AND DOVER
They still choke each other. Andre is about to lunge at them.
SYBIL (V.O.)
Oh, do stop fighting oneanother. You both have been exposed to
the Androgyne’s pheromones.
The heroes stop fighting. Dover points at Andre.
DOVER
You love me so much, you’ll stay
right where you are!
Andre stiffens. Then he has a lovesick look on his face.

ANDRE
Yes . . . darling. You are so beautiful.
DOVER
Like I haven’t heard that one before.
(to Hawkins)
Please get off of me.
HAWKINS
Sorry, Debra.
They start to stand up.
DOVER
And don’t use my name in front of
the Zodiac Killers!
They are now on their feet. Dover still points at Andre.
DOVER (CONT’D)
Are you the Androgyne?
ANDRE
Yes.
DOVER
Who are you now?
ANDRE
Andre Jeannot.
DOVER
Who is your female self?
ANDRE
Gina Andrews.
HAWKINS
How much do y--uh, does she
weigh?
ANDRE
About 105 pounds.

HAWKINS
Make him change into Gina.
DOVER
Why?
HAWKINS
So she can fall in love with me.
And she’ll be easier to carry
in the air.
DOVER
Oh, right. I should have
known.
(to Andre)
Andre, please turn into Gina.
ANDRE
Yes, dear.
Andre MORPHS into Gina. Dover points at her.
DOVER
You love him. You now see and hear the real him.
GINA
(seductively to Hawkins)
Hello, big boy.
HAWKINS
(nonplussed)
Hi. Are you afraid of heights?
GINA
No.
HAWKINS
Good. Let me carry you in my arms.
GINA
Oh, I would like that.
Hawkins lifts her up in his arms. Then he and Gina fly upward.

Dover follows him seconds later.
The shadows they cast are not of three people flying. Instead, the hawk and dove’s flying shadows are seen in the moonlight.
HAWKINS, GINA, AND DOVER
Dover stays behind them and tries to keep out of the jealous Gina’s sight.
HAWKINS
Don’t be scared.
GINA
With you holding me? No way,
buster.
(glares at Dover)
Though I don’t know why she has to be here.
HAWKINS
Just ignore her and concentrate on me.
GINA
That won’t be hard.
HAWKINS
You created theZodiac drinks
by mixing variations of the Elixir of Life?
GINA
Yes. I wanted to see how they would affect different sun signs.
HAWKINS
How many people did you sell the other Elixirs to?
GINA
The real thing or the sugar water?
HAWKINS
Sugar water?

GINA
I only sold those bottles to women, children, and married men.
HAWKINS
Why did you do that?
GINA
I didn’t want the town to be full of Zodiac Killers. One of them may have killed me. That’s why I drank the Leo Elixir. So I would gain a lion’s abilities.
HAWKINS
One of which is sensing the presence of other superhumans.
GINA
Yes. And if they had attacked me,
I would have used my claws, fangs, and pheromones against them.
HAWKINS
So how many bottles of the actual Zodiac Elixirs did you sell?
GINA
Just eleven. One for each of the other Zodiac signs.
HAWKINS
And you sold them only to single men?
GINA
Single evil men. I seduced them with my pheromones and learned about their criminal records.
HAWKINS Why not sell the bottles to single good men?
Gina laughs.

GINA
Because evil men tend to use their powers. Good men think that supernatural powers are a sin against God. Which is so silly. There is no God. Only
alchemy.
HAWKINS
So this was all just a science experiment to you?
GINA
An alchemy experiment, yes.
HAWKINS
But a lot of people died
because of you. Many of them were children.
GINA
What can I say? Mortals are born to die sooner or later. I just took advantage of that fact.
Hawkins glowers at Gina. So does Dover. Hawkins and Dover then look at each other. Hawkins tilts his head upward. Dover nods hers.
SYBIL
She looks at Hawkins and Dover in the crystal. She panics.
SYBIL
Mr. Hawkins! Miss Dover! Fly the Androgyne to me at once!
RESUME THE HEROES AND GINA
Hawkins and Gina fly upward at a fast speed. Dover stops in midair.
GINA WHEEEEEE!

DOVER
Forget it, Sybil. That’s one
order we won’t obey.
THE DELPHI CRYSTAL
The superimposed images of Hawkins and Gina appear inside it. Sybil’s fingertips touch the top of the crystal.
SYBIL
Mr. Hawkins, stop! Do not do anything!
HAWKINS AND GINA
They stop flying upward, much to Hawkins’s displeasure. Then he smirks to Gina.
HAWKINS
It hasn’t been nice knowing you.
SYBIL (V.O.)
Mr. Hawkins, no!
Hawkins lets go of Gina. She screams and falls out of the scene. Hawkins watches her fall.
HAWKINS
Because of you, we died sooner instead of later!
Dover flies next to him.
DOVER
You might as well release your hold over Harry, Sybil. We still have Zodiac Killers to hunt down.
GINA’S BLEEDING CORPSE
It lies in a field. Gina MORPHES into Andre. Then his body MORPHS into the half-man, half-woman ANDROGYNE.

SYBIL
She angrily rubs the top of the crystal with her palm. Then she quickly bites into another bonbon.
SYBIL
All right, Miss Dover. But we shall be having a talk once you both come back here.
RESUME HAWKINS AND DOVER
DOVER
Oh, you’re just sore because
Harry killed the alchemist this time.
HAWKINS
Yeah. Lighten up.
They fly quickly out of the scene.
