(i)Have worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Centre for Agri-Informatics Engineering, Shobhit University, Meerut from February 1, 2011 to May 23, 2011.
(ii)9 months of work experience as a GIS Associate at Innodata Isogen Pvt. Ltd. from Jan 14, 2009 to Oct 5, 2009.
(iii)Further 11 months of work experience at CE Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. (MapmyIndia) from 11th Feb 2008 to 14th Jan, 2009 as a GIS Engineer.
(iv)10.5 months of work experience as a Junior GIS Executive at SGS Infotech Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon, Haryana from 19th Feb, 2007 to 28th Dec, 2007.
Responsibilities at Shobhit University:
(i)Entrusted with the task of developing some research activities at the Centre for Agri-Informatics Engineering at the University.
(ii)Had organised a workshop (as an Organising Secretary) on “Application of GIS and GPS technologies in Agriculture and Forestry” on March 06, 2011. The workshop was very successful as the delegates received both theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject and it saw heavy students’ response.
(iii)Had initiated collaboration with the forest department of the state for creating a geospatial database for Hastinapur Wildlife Sanctuary.
(iv)Also initiated to start short term certificate courses in GIS and Remote Sensing in the Centre for Agri-Informatics Engineering.
(v)Have worked as the editor of monthly newsletter of ShobhitUniversity, “New Dimensions”for the month of April and May, 2011.
Responsibilities at Innodata Isogen:
(i)Preparing documentation for the pilot project and specifying various processes involved and all queries involved with the client.
(ii)Giving online demo to the team members in Manila and getting them acquainted with the process.
(iii)Finding out time estimation for a particular project which could be helpful in pricing.
(iv)After the successful completion of pilot, defining a process flow for the live project.
(v)Other responsibilities included taking interviews for people who did a part of work in the project in Adobe Photoshop, Arc GIS etc, giving them training and preparing their work flow and status of performance.

Projects at MapmyIndia:
(i) Worked on company’s own project of updating the Points Of Interests (POIs) of important metros like Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune as well as various states in India like Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu
Software Used: Map Info Professional (7.5)
Responsibility:Related to database management and final integration POIs which is very important in GPS industry.
Process involved: Cleaning the data, naming conventions and categorisation, checking data redundancy using browser as well as mapper and also updating different fields in database as per necessity all using SQL queries in Map Info. Also doing positional accuracy check with utmost precision. Shifting of POIs according to shift in the roads. After it final QC of data was also done.
(ii) Geocoding of Ahmedabad for a client.

Projects at SGS Infotech Pvt. Ltd.
(i)NIC PAN Data
Process and software used: Georeferencing and geocorrection using Erdas Imagine 8.4 and QC of digitization work using Autocad map 2000i. Then topology was built using Arc Info. The work also included giving training to the freshers who joined the project.
(ii)Outdoor Navigation System
Process and software used: work was of Digitisation in Autocad Map 2000i, QC in Autocad map 2000i and georeferencing in Erdas.
(iii)Newsoils
Process and software used: project the work was of doing final QC of texts of different blocks using Arc Info.
(iv)Parcel Mapping
Process and software used: where georeferencing in Arc GIS 9.1 was the primary work. QC of the final attributes was done.
