Ext: Empty city street-Night
(We show different shots of empty streets and see traffic lights change from one to the other and no cars are around or people walking. The City is abandoned. We focus on a corner for a few seconds and nothing is happening and we slowly zoom in when we see a man in a black suite run around the corner running from something that we do not know yet. He has a silver gun in his hand. He runs past the camera right as he does A car comes speeding around the corner. We do a chase scene to the song “Ready Steady Go” John is the name of the man running from the car. We do a shot of the man driving the car and he is in all black and has a black mask on and black gloves. We cant see anything of this guy. We do a shot of John runs up an ally way and the car is hot on his tail. And john stops and turns around and runs up the car and jumps off to run the other way. The chase continues through the empty streets. John finds a way to get away from the car and run through the park into the darkness.

Int: Johns Basement-day
(John is sitting in a chair staring ahead blankly when his phone rings. He looks at it in hesitation to pick it up. On the fourth ring he picks it up)
John
What do you want from me?
Masked man
Meet me at the mall half an hour.
John
Why?
Masked man
Just do what I say. When you get there I’ll be in the back
By the restrooms. You know where I speak. Look in the back corner table I’ll be sitting in the table in front of it. You are to bring a newspaper and sit in the table behind me with your back to me. We must not be seen talking together. We have approximately five minutes. Any longer and I’ll kill you. Come unarmed with no weapons of any kind. If you try anything funny I will have my men execute you on sight. This is not a game.
John
How can I trust you?
Masked man
You cant.
(The Masked man hangs up the phone. John Slams down the phone pissed off.)
John
Damnit.
Cut to
Ext: Mall-Day
(John is walking down the sidewalk and this time there’s people everywhere. We pan along with him and watch him walk in to the mall.)
Int: Mall-Day
(We do a shot of John standing in front of us, as we look up at all the people in the mall.)
Cut to
Int: Mall-day
(John is walking toward the restrooms as we follow along with him. He stops dead in his tracks when he sees the masked man. But the man has a newspaper in front of him. John Walks over to the table slowly looking around to make sure it’s not a trap. But they’re the only ones in there. He sits down in the table behind him with his back to him and puts the newspaper in front of his face.)
John
There’s no one here but us. Why do we have to hide?
Man
They can see us…I see you brought your gun even though
I told you not to or you will be executed.
(John has a look of shock on his face)
Man
It’s ok. I’ll let you live. But I swear to you by the time
It takes you to reach down and grab your firearm and put it to my head and pull the trigger I will be gone and you will be dead. Besides I need you.
John
Why? What do you want from me?
Man
It’s simple. You have something I need for my existence. Something of which I do not get then this entire race will suffer.
John?
What?
Man
John do you not see that I have the ability to kill all of this. I can make all these people disappear within the blink of an eye. As you saw last night.
John
Why did you do that last night? Why make everyone disappear when you want to destroy us?
Man
To make you feel helpless John. There was no one around to help you. Nowhere for you to hide. You felt abandoned. You felt alone, and you felt afraid. I can read your feeling and thoughts so be weary of what your thinking.
John
I don’t understand what you want from me. What do I have to do to make you go away. I just want to be free of this.
Man
John, John, John you will never be free. Your Government is after you. They hired me to hunt you down.
John
So you’re a bounty Hunter?
Man
What I am you will never know.
John
So you don’t want anything from me do you?
Man
No I do. You Government is paying me fifty million dollars to capture and kill you.
John
And so what do you want from me?
Man
There’s a chip inside your computer. No not inside but attached to the back of you computer.
John
Why do you need this chip?
Man
You wouldn’t understand. The brain Capacity of a young man like yourself is much to fragile. An explanation of why an entire human race has so much to do with the chip that is attached to the back of your computer is far to extensive for the like of you to comprehend.
John
What are you talking about?
Man
My point exactly…I like you John and I am willing to let you live in exchange for this chip.
John
And where do I meet you?
Man
There is a parking garage in this mall, which you are familiar with. Are you not?
John
I am.
Man
Good. Meet me at the top level with the computer chip. We haven’t much time to make the exchange so be there on time at noon tomorrow. If you are late. Than the deal is off and I will kill you. Do you understand?
John
Yes.
Man
Good. You must leave now. I want you to get up slowly and leave your newspaper. Walk away and act normal. Don’t look back or even think of what I just said. When you reach the escalator run as fast as you can.
John
Why?
Man
A man will be following you. It is in his nature to follow you and report back to your government of everything you do. You must execute him as fast as possible with no one around. You are on your own. Now go!
(John gets up and walks away calmly. We watch him get on the escalator and wait while it goes down. The second he reaches the bottom he runs as fast as he can out the door and we see a man in a black mask run after him. We follow them as they run through downtown and into the park. John leads him to a empty place in the park and ducks behind a bush. When the man runs past him john jumps on top of him puches him in the face and starts kicking him. Then he drags him behind the bush and we focus on the bush but can’t see john and the man. Then we hear a gunshot and John run away.

Int: John’s house- day
(We see John looking behind his computer for a second then he pulls out a small chip and study’s it. He looks at it for quite some time
But cant seem to see anything special about the chip. He puts it in a small box carefully and grabs his gun and puts it under his jacket of his black suite.
(Words appear on the screen “The next day”)
Fade in
Ext: rooftop-Day
(John walks out of the doors that lead to the elevators. He has the small box with him. He looks around but no one is there yet. The masked man pulls up in his car and gets out. He has a black mask on still. They both stare at each other waiting for one of them to come to each other.
John
I found the chip. So just take it and leave me alone.
Man
Walk toward me slowly with the box. No sudden movements.
(John starts walking slowly toward him with the box. He hands him the box. Right when he hands him the box John pulls out his gun and puts it to his head.)
John
Who else is here with you!!
(Another man in a black mask busts out of the door and starts shooting at John. John runs to take cover. Right as he starts to run away the masked man starts shooting at him to. John shoots the guy who came running out. He drops. John leaps over the edge lead down to the next level. The masked man runs after him. John runs into the staircase and runs down two more levels. They start running back up through the parking lot now. John takes cover behind a corner and kicks the masked man in the face when he comes by. They get into a huge action fight. And at the end John mange’s to pick up his gun.
John
It’s over now.
Man
You think it’s over?
John
What are talking about?
Man
John I’m not the only who’s after you.
John
How many more are there!
Man
More than you could possibly imagine.
John
How do I stop it?!!
Man
You cant.
John
Why!
Man
John you’re a marked man. You have a bounty on your head. A bounty big enough to make your best friend kill you.
John
Tell me how to stop it!
Man
I don’t like repeating myself John and I find myself becoming very impatient with you. So I’ll say it one more time. There is no way to stop it. You will have people after you no matter where you go. If you kill me now word will get back and they’ll just send more people. You can fight the system all you want but you’ll never win.
John
And you expect me to just give up now. I don’t care how many of you there are. I am going to fight the system with everything I have. And your wrong. No one will know that you died because we’re the only one’s here. Bye.
(John pulls the trigger but the masked man glitches behind John. John turns around and has a huge look of shock on his face.)
John
What the hell!!
(The masked man pulls some crazy matrix like move on John and knocks him out. The man slowly walks away and gets in his car and drives off. We cut back to John. He gets up slowly and looks around. He walks into the door that leads into the hallway of elevators. He presses the button and waits for the elevator. It comes and he walks in and looks at the camera until the elevator door closes.)
Fade in: Int: Johns car-Day
(John is driving down an empty road and he looks his mirror and sees that the masked man is following him. John starts driving fast and it turns into a car chase to the song “clubbed to death”. After awhile chasing each other in the cars John is driving a little bit ahead of the masked man when he does a 180 and and starts driving backward and shooting at the masked man. The man stops his car and opens his door to take cover behind it. John does the same. Both of them run out of bullets. They both through there guns to the side. They both stand up.
Man
Ya know john guns are over rated. Wouldn’t you I agree?
John
I guess.
Man
My father was a sword collector. I never really liked it. But he taught me how to use them. And I know that your father was the same.
John
How do you know about my father?
Man
I’ve been after you for a long time john. I know a lot about you…anyway. It is true that your father taught you how to use a blade?
John
Yes.
(The masked man pulls out two swords and slides one over to John. John pick it up. And they both start to attack each other. They break out into this huge sword fight and it’s tight as hell. And John beats him by a slice across the stomach. John walks up to his dead body slowly and looks at it in disgust. Than sticks the sword in the body and walks away to his car and grabs a tank of gasoline and matches. He pours the gasoline on the body that we don’t see the body we just see him pouring it. He lights it up and we watch him get in his car and drive off through the flames.
