TheEquestrian AustraliaDressageCommittee (EADC)invitesalldressageevent organiserstoapplytohostthe2018AustralianAmateur Owner Rider DressageChampionships.

Thevenue,footing,stablingandfacilitiesshouldbeofastandardinkeepingwiththislatest edition to our National Major Championships.

Facilitiesforcompetitors,spectatorsandmediashouldbeofasuperiorstandard.Withregardstomediafacilities, it is advisable toofferadedicatedmediacentre,whichismanagedbyamedialiaisonofficer,andofferingworkinginternetandtimelydeliveryofresults.

Facilitiesneedtobeinthecapacityofthefollowing:

  • 5-6competitionarenas
  • 2generaltrainingareas
  • 2-3warm-uparenas
  • Indoorarenawith generous seating.
  • Recommended 200stablesplus
  • Truckandfloatparkingareas
  • Daystallsoryards
  • Campingfacilitiesinc.sufficient accesstopowerandwater to cater for entry numbers.

Rules8.1–8.10oftheAustralianDressageRulesprovide overall guidelines onthefacilitiesand technicalrequirementstoconductanAustralianDressageChampionship, albeit the Conditions of Entry for an Australian Amateur Owner Rider Championship differ in certain requirements and areas. The Schedule for the 2017 AAOR Championships is also available on request.

Dates: The date of the event is at the discretion of the Organising Committee.

Budget:ItispossiblethatFederal,State and Local GovernmentGrantsmaybe available upon application to those authorities and aP/LofpreviousNationalChampionships isavailableonrequest.Inthepast, and at the discretion of the Organising Committee, the budgethasalsoincludedafeefortheDirectoroftheEvent.

The Equestrian Australia Dressage Committee (EADC) will assess all submissions, after which the EADC will appoint the Organising Committee to host the 2018 Australian Amateur Owner Rider Dressage Championships.
