Expression of Interest – Consumer speaker at the APHA 36th National Congress 2017

Health Consumers Queensland are seeking two consumers and/or carers to speak at a session that is part of a three day conference at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Information about the conference is found here:

Consumers session - What do consumers want and is the private health system delivering?
Australian health consumers have a broad range of needs from the system. For those treated in the private sector their expectations go beyond a private room and a good dinner (though these are important) to continuity of care, access to health technology and a positive and supportive caring environment. This panel will explore what health consumers want from their private healthcare and what can be done to deliver it.

You need to be a confident speaker and ideally, you’ve presented at a conference in the past.
