Project outline

The Inclusively Fit Project(IFP) is looking for a delivery partner to engage with vulnerable adults within local communities. After gathering insight on activity delivery in care settings we have attracted funding to deliver a pilot project across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. The project will engage with a variety of settings including care homes, day centres and inactive community groups. The process for doing this will be delivering 3 different activities over a period of 3 weeks (1 hour per week), to engage the group along with mentoring the setting staff following on from an educational workshop the IFP will provide prior to the delivery. Equipment will then be left with the setting to continue activity, with impact measurement completed after a set time period by the IFP.

The duration of the project will depend on the development of the sessions and interest from the settings. There is an initial £3k of funding to deliver 15 blocks across the county, with an extension fund of £2k for additional blocks if the delivery is gaining the impact required. There is a draft budget already in place which can be altered if needed to meet the requirements of the delivery partner, travel expenses can be claimed separately from this budget.
