7. Brief account of your research interests with special focus on Nano Science and

Technology:

The environmental impact of nanotechnologial applications very rarely appears as a subject of investigation. So my research is to study the biological effect of commercially important nanoparticles using conventional end points for checking and measuring oxidative damage on lipids and proteins, lethality and life cycle changes on in selected environmentally relevant marine invertebrate and vertebrate species. I am actively participating in the culture of marine invertebrates in closed cycle systems.
