Executive Meeting: February 28, 2017
Present: Dan Reive, Larry McDonald, Jack Szorvas, Ken Koehler, Rob Dietrich, Sheilah Marans, Dale Smith, Peter Wood, Leo Wybenga, Dennis Reive, Dale Wiper.
Dan Reive was nominated and acclaimed President for 2017-2018 (Moved by Larry McDonald, seconded by Leo Wybenga) and Dennis Reive was acclaimed Vice President for 2017-2018 (Leo Wybenga, Dale Smith).
Correspondence
1. Thank you letter sent to Jim Jackson for his recent donation of $300 to the club.
2. A summary of our Annual General Meeting will be sent to local newspapers to include as a news item.
3. Notice from Southwestern Ontario QDMA Branch re: their upcoming spring banquet.

Old Business:
1. London Boat, Fishing, Outdoor Show, February 24, 25, 26- C-K Tourism Supervisor Shannon Paiva will be invited to a future meeting to de-brief how the weekend went with suggestions for next year.
2. Big Buck & Sportsmen’s Show, April 22- committee meetings continue. Trophies have been ordered. New walkways will be built for the trout pond. Moved by Ken Koehler, seconded by Dale Smith to purchase 2 dozen hats for the show. Carried. Prices will be investigated to possibly have a birds of prey demonstration during the show.
New Business
1. OFAH conference March 17/18, 2017- Dan Reive and/or Dennis Reive will attend on behalf of the club.
2. Notice of Motion- Moved by Larry McDonald, seconded by Dale Wiper to purchase up to $2500 in items for the prize table at the Kids’ Fishing Derby.

Club members are invited to bring in fishing, hunting or other outdoors items to sell or trade at the March 14th General Meeting. Antique items for display are also welcome.
All guns must be in a case, have a trigger lock, and you must have your PAL with you.
