St Thomas’ Primary School Christmas Fair
This year our Christmas Fair is to be held after school on THURSDAY 8TH DECEMBER so put the date in your diary!
After collecting your child(ren) please make your way around to the Key Stage 2 playground where Swineshead Silver Band will be playing some festive music. As in previous years Year 3 will then open the Christmas Fair at approximately 3.15pm with a rendition of some of the songs they have been learning for their Christmas Carol Concert. Swineshead Silver Band will continue to play festive music at intervals throughout the event. The School choirs conducted by Mr Ford from Boston Stump will then entertain with Christmas songs from 3.45pm.
A variety of stalls will be situated in the School Hall and designated classroom areas. Alongside school stalls and games there will also be Usborne Books, Button Bear Crafts, Phoenix Cards, Marks and Spencers, Paula’s Gifts, Zoe’s Zaberdashery, R U Crafty, to name a few,along with the usual sweets, cakes and health and beauty stalls.
Prizes- if you have any unwanted gifts, maybe you could donate them as prizes? We will be looking for items suitable for raffle and tombola. If you work somewhere and they would be able to donate a prize, let us know and we can forward a letter to them.
Teddies– The teddy tombola always proves very popular; if you have any unwanted soft toys in excellent condition please bring them into school to find a new home.
During the week beginning Monday 5th December we would like to invite in parents, grandparents or carers to come and bake with groups of children. Ingredients will be provided by school, if you are able to help fill in the form below and return it to school. We will let you know the day and time of your session.
