Executive Director CCRC Maryland
Integrace, a well respected, not for profit senior living organization, headquartered near Baltimore, has retained WK Advisors to assist in locating an Executive Director for its Fairhaven community in Sykesville, Maryland. Located on 300 wooded, scenic acres, Fairhaven residents enjoy a lifestyle that allows them to pursue what they love, and to be with the people they most enjoy.
The 200+ team members at Fairhaven serve more than 400 residents, within 305 private cottages and apartment homes, 47 assisted living suites, short term rehabilitation, a wellness center, and 70 Medicare certified, private skilled nursing suites. In addition, Fairhaven also offers around-the-clock respite care services to anyone in the community, for a period of 1 week to 30 days.
This healthcare executive is responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence and continued financial success of the community. Reporting to the CEO of Integrace, the Executive Director has seven direct reports, and will be a visionary in identifying future delivery models for care and services to the community residents.
The Executive Director of an Integrace community embraces the vision, the mission, and the culture of the organization, and leads the team in creating and maintaining a vibrant and engaging environment for Integrace residents, families, caregivers, and colleagues. Fairhaven was recently named “U.S. News Best Nursing Homes” by U.S. News & World Report. The Integrace community is one of 2,000 communities to earn the designation nationwide, and one of 36 in Maryland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the inclusive day-to-day operations of the independent living cottages and apartments, assisted living suites, skilled nursing suites and respite care services.
- Responsible for the Continuous Quality Improvement program for the community.
- Creates a positive working environment, recognizing each colleague and promoting cooperation and high standards of performance.
- Responsible for the cost effectiveness and financial aspects of the community. Ensures the community is financially stable and that ethical and financially sound business practices are used.
- Responsible for being an ambassador for the community, to visitors, and external audiences.
- Collaborates with construction team colleagues in the design of new and expanding areas within the community.
Successful candidates for this position must have a minimum of 7 years experience in managing a complex CCRC. A Nursing Home Administrator License in the state of Maryland, or is license eligible, would be preferred. Candidates must understand and have a passion for resident-centered living.
