- incoming student application form with a scanned passport photo
- Partner University nomination form (page 4)
- most recent transcript of records in English or German
- recognised language certificate*
- provisional learning agreement
(signed by you and your Exchange Programme Coordinator) - copy of the picture page of your passport
- copy of your health insurance policy/card (with sufficient coverage for your exchange semester) or a statement that you will be taking out Swiss health insurance upon arrival.

If applying to a taught-in-German Programme
If German is not your mother tongue, one of the following recognized certificates is required to prove that you have a high B2, or (even better) C1 level in German.
Goethe Institute – TestDaF (minimum level TDN4)
Goethe Institute - Goethe Zertifikat C1
Goethe Institute Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch International (PWD) (above 50% in each part of the exam)

If applying to a taught-in-English Programme
If you have been accepted to study in one of the taught-in-English programmes and English is not your mother tongue, one of the following recognized certificates is required to prove that you have a high B2, or (even better) C1 level in English.
IELTS (IELTS 7 is recommended. IELTS 6 or 6.5 may be accepted depending on the overall strengths of the application)
TOEFL, CPE (min. C), CAE (min. C), TOEIC
