/ Tyler learned some important new information about the caribou and wolves in Never Cry Wolf, part 5. First, he learned more about the caribou and the wolves. He saw a large caribou herd running in his direction. He wondered why they were running. Then, he observed some wolves were running, too. He saw a group of wolves chase a caribou into the water. The wolves and the caribou run out on a spit of land that extended into the water, but the wolves were not able to catch this caribou and Tyler wondered why. He wondered if the wolves would catch a caribou. He kept watching. (etc. ……)
Tyler also learned new information about Rosie. Rosie returned to the Arctic with some visitors. Rosie was more successful now. He had a new plane and hotels. He was discussing business plans with the visitors. (etc. …….)
Then, Tyler learned more about the white wolves and their pups. When he returned to his camp, he found the wolf pups alone in the den. The parents seemed to have disappeared; they were nowhere around. He wondered what happened to the white wolves. Soon, Tyler found Mike in the shelter. Finally, Rosie took off and almost ran into Tyler with the plane. They really hated each other. (etc. …..)
Near the end of part 5, Tyler faces his last challenge; he needed to learn how to survive through the winter. He decides to stay in the Arctic and winter will soon arrive. Tyler is alone with the wolf pups; he has no food and it is becoming cold again. Soon the lake with be frozen and the ground covered with snow. He doesn’t know how to survive in the winter; he needs help. (etc. …..)
