Liberty Battalion Event Orders:

Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy Kickoff Experience!

19 October, 2016 (Wednesday) EVHS Library (1600 hrs.)

Mission: Join 18,000 students in over 30 states to develop your leadership skill and put what you learn into action. The goal of the program is to provide students the education and platform you need to become leaders of the next generation. Over the course of the school year, you will be given opportunities to make a real change in your community by executing three service projects. That momentum starts with the Leader Academy Kickoff Experience!!

Reporting Time: 1600 sharp (4:00PM) (ending time approximately 6:00 PM)

Transportation: Selected Cadets will need to provide transportation to and from the event.

Location of Event: Meeting location will be on EVHS Library.

Event Agenda: Selected Cadets (30+) will attend the Chick-Fil-A Leadership Academy Kickoff Experience, and will even complete their first community service project.

Food: The Georgetown Chick-Fil-A will be providing a Chick Fil A sandwich, a bag of chips and a cookie for all participants. Booster Club will be providing cold Coke and Dr. Pepper.

Attire for event: We need all Selected Cadets to bring/wear their Navy Sweat shirts for a photo opportunity.

Special Items: Selected Cadets must be prepared to engage professionally with each other during the Leader Academy Kick Off as a part of this service learning and leadership training exercise.

Project Officers: Cadet Lieutenant Sydney Herrera and Cadet Senior Chief Rachel Isenhour.

I, Cadet ______acknowledge that I have been approved for participation in the Chick Fil A Leadership Academy and that I have been issued the event orders based upon my verbal commitment. I recognize that it is my responsibility to activate these orders by returning them signed no later than 1day after receipt to confirm review and consent by a parent or guardian. I understand the instruction and direction provided above for the orderly and proper execution of this mission. In addition, I promise to conduct myself in a manner consistent with the Navy’s core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment and to obey all GISD rules and applicable laws. Finally, I understand that if for any reason it becomes necessary to cancel my commitment, I must do so in writing at least 24 hours in advance and that failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.
