EV CLUB MEETINGS

Are you a fan of comics? Anime? Or Manga? Or do you just want to hang out with friends and play Smash Brothers? Then come join the EV Comic Club on Thursdays after school in the library!

FOR Club - will be having a breakfast meeting this Thursday from 8:10-8:40 in Rm 142 to discuss a one day training that will be held at the PAC on September 25th from 9:30-3:30. You will need permission forms signed to attend this event. Old and New members are welcome! Let's start a Chain Reaction at EVHS!

Culinary Club will be meeting on Thursday, to determine the winner of our "Hope after the Hurricane" contest. Whichever 3A class raises the most money will be awarded chocolate chip cookies baked by the Culinary Club!

PATRIOT FOOTBALL

Tickets to this week’s game (09/15/17) against Rouse will be sold at the diamond until 1:30pm on Friday. The game is at Rouse HS, Bible Stadium, and starts at 7:30PM. Students pay $3, and tickets for adults are $7. All tickets at the gate will be $8.No weekly tickets will be sold in the Athletic Office.

CROSS COUNTRY

A fundraiser will be held at CANES all day today, September 13th. Simply tell them when you order that you are supporting East View Cross Country and 15% of your order will come back to us.

STUDENT COUNCIL

Freshmen interested in running for an elected representative position on Student Council should come by room 207 to pick up a candidate packet.

EAST VIEW BAND

Band is selling chrome "EV" logo car emblems for $15. If you or your parent is interesting in purchasing one of these classy emblems for your car to show your East View school spirit around Georgetown, they are available in the band hall and at the Diamond.

SENIORS

To assist seniors in their college application process GISD is hosting a Senior Night Parent and Student informational on Thursday, Sept 21st, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, at East View’s cafeteria. This is a unique opportunity for seniors and their parents to receive important information and insight into both the college application and the FAFSA process. Please save the date and plan to attend this event

TO ALL STUDENTS

Georgetown ISD will host a College Fair Night on Tuesday Sept 26th at East View High School’s cafeteria, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Personally meet college reps from Colleges, Universities, Trade schools, Academies, Military Branches and more. So save the date and register at GOTOCOLLEGEFAIRS.COM to streamline the college fair circuit. When you register you will receive a bar code that will allow you to share information with select schools electronically as you visit with college reps.
