Preamble

The apartment is one of 48 apartments in an eight-storey block of subsidized dwellings.

The ground floor of the block comprises storage areas, cellars and laundry accommodation. The stairwell is constructed at the edge of the building; at each floor the stair gives access to an outside balcony, onto which the flat doors open. Six flats open onto each balcony.

The block is constructed in sand-lime bricks with facing brick. It has reinforced concrete decks and reinforced concrete internal load-bearing wall.
