1. DEADLINE for scholarship applications is May 1, 2017. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

2. Refer to application process below for a list of the supporting documents needed (i.e., reference forms, evidence of GPA, etc.) Incomplete applications will not be considered.

3. If any question does not apply to you in this application please put N/A in the space.

4. Type or print legibly. Illegible applications will be returned to you.

5. You will be notified by phone or mail NLT May 31regarding the status of your application.

  • This scholarship is open to female high school seniors from Onslowand JonesCounties ranking in the top 20 percent of her class. The applicant must plan to obtain a Bachelor or Associate Degree from an accredited college or university; or a Diploma from atechnical or trade school.
  • Applicants may be invited to an interview at the discretion of the scholarship committee.
  • The completed scholarship application package must include the following items:
  1. Completed application including photograph of applicant
  2. Official Transcript from your school
  3. Three letters of recommendation from your school, church, or employer. (Not a family member)
  4. Typed essay, 250-500 words (topics are listed on page 3 of the application)
  • No application will be considered unless ALLof the documents are enclosed and received by the due date.
