Abstract

This document contains the guidelines for preparation of full papers for ESWM 2004. The instructions apply to all contributions, i.e. plenary, keynote, invited and poster sessions. Papers must not have more than 8 pages. Template files are available at the congress website and can be downloaded for various versions of MS-Word. The instructions define the layout of the papers and the way of submission as well as the respective deadlines.

The abstract must not exceed more than 100 words.

1.INTRODUCTION

For preparing the full paper for ESWM 2004 you can basically follow the appearance of the present document. Template files are available at the congress website for MS-Word 6.0/95, MS-Word 97-2000, MS-Word XP and in RTF-format for downloading.

Since the official language of the congress is English all papers must be written in English.

2.SUBMISSION

The most preferred way of submission of the full paper is in electronic form as a PDF-File or alternatively as MS-Word File. The file should be sent by email to .

Only papers formatted according to the present guidelines can be accepted.

The deadline for the full paper submission is May 31, 2004.

3.LAYOUT

3.1.Length of the paper

The length of the full paper in its final layout should not exceed eight (8) pages.

3.2.Format

The paper size is A4; make sure that the settings in your word processor and PDF-converter are chosen accordingly. The margins etc. can be seen from the present document. The preferred font is “Times New Roman”, the size to be used is 11pt (except for the abstract, image legends and authors that should be 10pt).

3.3.Title Page

The title page must give the title of the paper, all authors with their affiliations(s) and the abstract. The abstract must not exceed more than 100 words. The title page shall appear as the first page of this document.

3.4. Tables, Figures and Equations

Tables and Figures should be centered, numbered consecutively, and have captions (see Tab. 1 and Fig. 1).
