3)  Feedback from the Oslo Steering Group Meeting (Doc. GVC/WP1/TF2/3):

a)  Micro/macro indicators: we would not make an a priori distinction between the business statistics and macro statistics because of the fact that it merely reflects organizational differences. This issue will be discussed under item 5 of the agenda.

b)  Concept of international orientation: we agree that the work regarding this additional breakdown is more at place in the domain of experimental indicators, as it draws heavily on MDL. This issue will be discussed under item 5 of the agenda.

c)  Concept of Business Dynamics: we believe the ToC model has improved because the breaking up of enterprises in different business functions is better understood as an impact of globalisation than a driver of globalisation. This issue will be discussed under item 5 of the agenda.

d)  Planning and scope of activities: a project initiation documents (PID) will be presented at the Bucharest meeting. This issue will be discussed later on in the agenda under item 5 of the agenda.

e)  Different within-country responsibilities: as we are funded by our mandate within the ESSNet GVC, this formally only holds for the institution participating in the MBGA. This could create a problem in the course of the project. We propose a 'tour de table' to assess the risks and possibilities.

f)  Relation with VIP of Eurostat: In this project there is at least one action on establishing more functionality for producing and dissemination policy indicators. We request Eurostat to inform the working group on VIP.

g)  Preferences for taking lead: the framework has changed where it refers to the theme Business Dynamics. Consequences will be discussed under item 8 of the agenda.
