PROMOTERS CONDITIONS

1.  This event is under ASA Laws and ASA Technical Rules of Swimming and in accordance with the Promoter’s conditions.

2.  All swimmers must be registered with the ASA category 2.

3.  This is a meet for swimmers from Bromley Swimming Club, Bexley Swimming Club and Erith and District swimmers only. Bexley SC and Erith and District SC swimmers will combine to compete as one team against the Bromley SC team. There will be a minimum of one swimmer from each club for each event.

4.  This meet will take place in an 8 lane, 25m pool.

5.  Age groups for 50m and 100m events are:-12 and under, 13/14, Open; for 200m and 400m events 13 and under and Open. Age as at 6th January 2018.

6.  Three swimmers from each team will participate in each event in lane 2 to 7. Lanes 1 and 8 will be used for time trials swims. Scoring will be as shown in the improvement table.

7.  Scoring for the relays will be 12 points for 1st, 10 for 2nd, 8 for 3rd, 6 for 4th, 4 for 5th and 2 for 6th. Disqualification – 0 points

8.  Swimmers may not swim up in age group.

9.  Times for the individual events will be submitted to rankings for entry into County and Regional Championships.

10.  Spectators are not allowed on the poolside at any time

11.  Warm up will be 30 minutes before the advertised start times

12.  Only authorised persons are permitted poolside.

13.  Clubs must ensure when submittingtheir teams, via hy tek, that the names they are giving over are compatible with the ASA database

14.  The promoter will comply with the Data Protection Act 1998

15.  Teams must be submitted by midnight Thursday 4th January 2018.

16.  Any last minutes changes can be made on the night, before the start of the warm up.

17.  The minimum age for competing is 9 years of age at 6th January 2018.
