K-4 Classroom Intervention and Enrichment in Mathematics Part 2 November 15, 2016-December 15, 2016

November 15th: All Participants meet for our initial meeting.

Course Description

Participants will identify the foundation skills in Math Modules 3 and 4 for their grade level. They will utilize math game reference books, websites, online programs, and other resources to develop games, centers, and/or mini-lessons for remediation and enrichment during classroom intervention time. On the last day of the course, participants will present and share their work with all course participants. They will also share feedback regarding implementation in their classrooms.

Course Requirements:

- Participants will create 4-8 classroom centers, games, websites, or online program plans for use during classroom intervention for Math Modules 3 and 4.

-Participants will complete the coursework chart and bring 14 copies (for sharing) on Dec. 15th.

-December 15th: Participants will share their games, resources, or online programs plans. Participants can share individually or with a peer/team.

-Participants will complete and return a timesheet on December 15th.

-Participants will fill out a course survey. (ECTC homepage---Forms---Fall Survey--- password is always ectc) You will then receive a certificate from the Teacher Center for course completion. This link is also on the course webpage.

Course Length: 15 hour course includes today’s meeting, your work between now and December 15th, sharing meeting on December 15th.

If you are in another building/district, just e-mail me and I will send it to you. Please put it back in interschool BOCES mail after 3 days. (I understand mailing time can be long.)
