Recommendation:

It is our opinion that this technology is not being used to its full potential. As it is configured now it can be utilized in both Federal and State agencies for protecting buildings where there could be targeted for future attacks. For example, it could be placed on buildings where important members of state are located so in the event of a sniper attack it will give the agents the necessary information to counter the attack. Also, as it has already been downsized to be worn and used by and individual and this could be very helpful for not only Secret Service Agents but for any member of law enforcement involved a situation with a sniper. As far as the large antenna that is mounted on the back of a HUMVEE there is potential in the future for that to be designed to where it could be mounted on a standard automobile sedan.

Conclusion:

This technology is not only saving lives of our service members it is generating jobs for people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. By expanding this technology to other areas rather than just for military applications it not only could save more American lives but will generate more jobs and income coming into the Commonwealth. This technology not only will deter an attack, but will provide and edge for those who know how to take this tool and leverage it to suit their needs. By expanding this beyond the military it will not only benefit the company the company but the user since it will be used by different people and these people may discover short comings with it and provide feedback to the company that may not have discovered until later down the road.
