am voluntarily participating in the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium, Inc., “Entrepreneurship Immersion Week Experience” (“Experience”).

In consideration of my participation in the Experience, I hereby release the Cleveland State University and its Board of Trustees; the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium, Inc., and any of its Directors; and all other participating colleges and universities, their trustees, employees, agents, assigns, administrators, personal representatives and instructors, from any present and future actions, causes of action, demands, damages, costs, loss of service, expenses, compensation and claims, including, but not limited to, negligence, property damage, personal injury, or wrongful death arising out of participation in the Experience and any off-site extracurricular activities sponsored by the Experience.

In return for free tuition, room, board, admission fees and textbooks, Participant:

a) agrees to attend the entire Experience and any extra-curricular events sponsored by the Experience to receive all of its benefits;

b) understands that there may be extracurricular activities held off site;

c) agrees to alcohol-free and drug-free conduct during the Experience including any such extra-curricular activities;

d) understands and agrees to be financially responsible for willful or neglectful damages to facilities and equipment beyond normal wear and tear during the Experience;

e) releases any, and all, rights to the use of photographs, digital images, recordings and other representations of him/her, to the Experience, for promotional, educational and advertising purposes;

f) agrees to the release of his/her address, phone number and email address to all program participants and program sponsors;

g) acknowledges that the decision of the business concept competition judges is final;

h) understands that he/she may be provided with information concerning another team's concept and, in order to not cause the forfeiture of any intellectual property rights which that team may have, agrees not to disclose such information;

i) understands that violations of the terms of this Release Agreement will be grounds for dismissal from the Experience.

Participant states that he/she is at least eighteen years of age, under no legal disability, has carefully read this Release, understands its contents, and signs below of his/her own free will and accord.
