ISCAE Casablanca, 9th-10th December 2016

The ISCAE group, the first public Business School in Morocco, is organizing its second international CONFERENCE on the Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Businesses topics.

The conference entitled: “The Entrepreneurship and SME development in the world” will take place the 9-10 December 2016 at the ISCAE group campus.

This international event has, as a main objective,the willingness to discuss the importance of SMB in the development process of the countries,especially the emerging countries. In this context post crisis, characterized by the unemployment, the business creation, the development of innovative start up can constitute a serious path in order to strengthen the capacity of the economies to create quality jobs.

In the same time, countries have the responsibility to create an adequate environment in order to allow the creation, the development and the sustainability of these businesses. So topics like competitiveness, innovation, social responsibility and ethics, investment climate, etc have to be taken very seriously in order to elaborate adequate public policies, especially in the countries characterized by a disintegrated and no competitive private sector.

This international conference has the objective to get together professors, researchers, students, SME representatives in order to share experiences, best practices, and academic results.

Hence, without sticking to a restrictive list which, obviously, won’t be exhaustive, researchers are invited to present sheets about:

1. Typology of entrepreneurship
2. Financing conditions of SME
3. Cross country experiences of SME toward the world
4. The strengthening of business climate
5. Immaterial capital, innovation and SME performance
6. Corporate social responsibility of firms

The type of contributions of the conference are: communication proposals, conferences, round tables.

The temporary calendar of the event is as follow:

15thapril 2016: 30thJuly 2016: electronic submission of communication summaries deadline

30th July 2016: submission of round table proposal deadline

5th September 2016: electronic answer of scientific committee decision

1stNovember: entire communication submission deadline

9-10th December: International Conference
