- Turn in your ASP book if you still have it. (if you have not yet read it, you might want to do that over Spring Break as it will be on the final exam in May).
- B day only: turn in the blue and white sheet (reordering the outline and writing thesis from prompts) if you did not do so last time.
- Today is the LAST DAY for you turn in your Research Project:

- STAAR II Prep
- You are going to practice 3 areas that are tested on STAAR II ELA:
- Clarity of sentences – this is on the R&E questions and they will be looking for clarity of your sentences on the both the SAE and the Persuasive Essay – write on the paper
- Reordering Sentences within a paragraph – ditto on above – do NOT write on the paper; use your own paper, please.
- Determining THEME – this will be on the Reading Qs (read the tutorial first) – do NOT write on the paper; use your own paper, please.
- Pass out the STAAR charts
- Put your name at the top
- In the blank next to STAAR I ELA, put Spring 2015
- I am going to call out the scores/words you will put in each box, going across left to right, beneath that.
- Students who did not pass STAAR I ELA in the Spring 2015, will be given additional scores for successive tests taken. Put them in the bottom two row of boxes.
- Pass back the CBA #3 test booklets – students will self-score as I call out the correct answers. This will help you a lot if you can figure why the correct answer is the correct answer. If you want to, write this below the question and I will check it for you. I can’t give you a grade, but it will help you a lot with the upcoming STAAR II ELA test.
