English Department Trip - 25 to 26 October 2016

We are excited to be proposing another school trip to London to support our curriculum plans for English pupils and enhance learning experiences within the school.

Here are the key details about the planned trip:

2 days and 1 night

Departs on Tuesday 25 October 2016

Returns on Wednesday 26 October 2016

The cost is £205.00 per pupil

The itinerary for the trip will include:

Tour of Warner Studios (Harry Potter),

Two course dinner and drink at Rain Forest Café

Theatre performance of ‘Matilda’

Entrance to Madame Tussauds

Visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum

Entrance to Ripley’s Believe It or Not

Return executive coach travel

Accommodation: Bed and Breakfast at Meninger Hyde Park & packed lunch on day 2

This price also includes group travel insurance and tour operator emergency contact service whilst on tour.

In addition to the tour cost, we recommend that your child has £20 spending money for the trip. He/she will also require a packed lunch for the first day and comfortable waterproof shoes and jacket. I am sure you will agree that this is excellent value for the number of activities this trip includes.

To secure a place for your child on this trip, a non-refundable deposit of £70.00 is required, along with the completed permission slip by Friday 10 June 2016. A further payment of £80.00 is required by Friday 15 July 2016, followed by a final payment of £55.00 no later than Friday 9 September 2016.

The group size is limited to 40 so places will be given on a first come basis.

The trip is being booked through NST Travel, who we have used for the past four years. In every instance we have had a wonderful time and I am sure that this year will be no different. I hope that your child will be able to join us.
